A little bit about Dr. Fernanda Arruda

Fernanda Arruda, Ph.D,BCBA, Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

Director of Clinical Services

Dr. Fernanda Arruda is the Director of Clinical Services at NBI and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and a specialization in Neuropsychology. Originally licensed in Brazil, she brings extensive international experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and neuropsychological assessment for individuals with anxiety, mood, and neurological conditions. After relocating to the U.S., she completed her doctoral training at Florida Atlantic University and joined NBI in 2022. Dr. Arruda is especially passionate about enhancing clients’ executive functioning and social skills to promote independence and quality of life. In her leadership role, she ensures individualized, practice-based care that extends beyond the clinical setting.
